Mentorability I take direction and feedback well and without malice.
---
Attention to detail I find the small things are usually where quality lives and what makes something exceptional.
Communication Clear written updates, honest and upfront.
Perspective Game design taught me to place my perspective as a user and not just myself, and that carries into every UX decision.
Ownership If I ship it, it is my responsibility.
Problem solving I enjoy finding the best ways of solving things, and how to get there faster.
Collaboration Comfortable collaborating across design, engineering, and product, through initial and final stages.
Adaptability I adapt quickly and try not to get hung up on old stacks, old tools, or new briefs.
Self-directed learning Most of what I know I taught myself by building things in the pursuit of satisfying my curiosity.
I bring a unique combination of practical real-world skills and modern digital expertise. I am comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Comfortable in a fast-paced physical environment, as I am solving problems through technology and automation. I am driven by a desire to learn, adapt, and add value wherever I am needed.
These days I build software: mobile/web apps, and the occasional game when an idea won't leave me alone. Currently shipping a Tournament Bracket Builder, and working on a custom journal web app as a personal project.
